In 1998 Javad Shadzi, the founder of 034efi, was involved in tuning Audi 5-cylinder motors with CIS mechanical fuel injection systems. Being limited by the lack of tune-ability of the CIS system, and the performance limits it placed on creating power output past the 250hp mark, he began researching solutions to allow the true potential of the fundamentally good 5-cylinder platform. After researching many CIS modification options, he determined that electronic fuel injection was the best way to tune the 5-cylinder, and any other engine to its maximum potential.
The solution involved an ultra fast and powerful 32-bit Motorola processor, the most powerful ignition and fuel injector PWM drivers available, and a flexible, easy to use software interface backed by intricate algorithms.
Today, 034EFI is one of the premier fuel injection and engine management developers in the Audi/Volkswagen market and beyond. The flagship ECU model, the 034EFIStage IIc, features fully programmable coil-per-cylinder, degree based ignition with sequential staged fuel injection, closed-loop oxygen sensor and idle control, launch control, turbo anti-lag, boost control, data-logging and many, many other features. Constant development means more innovative features in the future and an ever competitive product to whatever comes along.

About Us
The "automotive aftermarket industry", like any industry, is filled with companies that operate for many different reasons. Some companies are a machine for profit, ie: Capital is invested into product categories that are in demand by a large enough, and accessible enough, portion of the market, in order to create a return on investment [profit] after the overhead costs.
Some companies are created by individuals who were a good mechanic or engineer, who have a skill for developing product, but their lack of business or marketing skill prevent the company from ever creating the value that larger, well thought out business plans create - economies of scale, diversified input, a thriving organization, innovation and efficiencies. They remain small, quirky product suppliers that struggle to ever create real value or innovation that ultimately benefit the end customer (the whole point of any company!).
034Motorsport is founded in a passion for the product, passion that drives development to high levels of refinement, and pushes innovation to levels that force others to imitation.
The goal at 034Motorsport is apply our passion, experience, skill, capital, resources and proprietary network of suppliers to create innovative, essential products for building the highest level of automotive performance. We are not simply a "distributor or reseller" of manufactured products (there are plenty of other companies doing that already). Our intent will always be to develop, manufacture and offer products that make us excited to unlock the doors everyday and put in 12 hour days that are essential to running a leading-edge business.
The Team
Javad Shadzi, President and Director of Product Development, Head Tuner
Founder of 034Motorsport and head of product development, Javad Shadzi combines his passion for fabrication and motorsports with a drive to create a company that is the foremost consultant to ultra high performance development projects. We call Javad the "Mad Scientist" as he insists on pushing his car's power and abilities to constant new levels. His daily driver has been driven less and less as of late, with over 900HP in a lightweight chassis we can understand his hesitation.
Christian Miller, Test Driver, Tech Support and Harness Development
When he's not stashed away in our harness room building your custom "034EFI Plug In Harness", or supporting you with your tech questions, Christian is out tearing up the track in the 034Motorsport World Challenge Jetta, his SCCA Spec Miata, his E46 M3 or his 500HP 034EFI powered, 20vt Coupe Quattro. Christian's passion for performance and motorsport shines through every time he picks up the phone or pins out a harness, and no one makes our products look better than when he's behind the wheel. Should you ever be so lucky, just be careful not to eat before he gives you a ride.
Lou Calderon, Office Manager
Lou comes to 034Motorsport with over 20 years of banking and book keeping experience, her job is to keep the money in order, ensure bills are paid in a timely manner, and also to make sure you've paid for your parts before they've shipped. Lou's motorsport ambitions are still in their infancy, however her Ford Minivan is begging for some 26" triple-gold-blangers and front-back-side-to-side hydraulics. Lou keeps all the guys in the shop in-line as well, ensuring everyone is washing behind their ears and paying off their employee purchases on time.
Nate Stuart, Product Development Engineering, Senior Tuner
When 034Motorsport needed a relenting, intricate, innovative product development specialist, we scoured the country - little did we know our candidate would materialize from the soggy, rustic, moose-enfused backwoods of Maine. Nate is no stranger to the rigors of motorsport development, his hands and engineering wit forged in epic Renault R5 back-road breakdowns, 034EFI turbo conversions and V8 twin-turbo, cone eating autocrossing initiatives. Nate was originally 034EFI customer number 3, he soon proved himself more than capable and enthusiastic of applying the power and flexibility of the system to many innovative applications - he now spends his sunny California days pushing product development of the system in new
and exciting ways.
Dan Eckerman, Senior Sales and Customer Service
034Motorsport isn't some conglomerate shipping warehouse, so when it came time to artistically and chivalrously assembling each order that came in, we needed an equally delicate and passionate professional to facilitate this. But that's just the smooth outer layer, dig deeper and Dan is a motorsport enthusiast through and through with a history of turbo'ing NA 2.5l Subaru's and tearing up the tracks of N. California at driving events. When you need help with 034Motorsport parts or orders you've placed, rely on Dan to swoon you into motorsport heaven.
Laszlo Tallai, Sales and Customer Service
At 034Motorsport, we hire only the most committed and passionate performance enthusiasts to consult our dear customers with their performance needs. Turns out Laszlo is just the guy, he is not only a rabid VW/Audi enthusiast, but a talented road biker as well. Being the kind of guy who likes to get some fresh air, he decided to ride his carbon fiber road bike to his first interview. About 15 miles into his trip, he was hit by a car crossing an intersection. Fortunately it was minor and he simply tumbled across the hood and gently fell to the pavement - merely a flesh wound. Seeing as he only had 10 more miles to go, he finished his ride and wasn't even late. We hired him, and on his first day into work, making the same ride, this time he hit a car, the rear quarter panel, who made a right turn in front of him. Laszlo's leg caved in the rear quarter panel, and this time he smoothly slid across the rear deck-lid, his chin brought him to a gentle stop on the pavement below (as can be seen his picture). Suffice to say, the police took a little longer than he would have liked, and he was 5 minutes late for his first day, fortunately we have a 3-strikes policy before termination here at 034.

034Motorsports is a demanding environment with unparalleled standards that drives most "factory trained wrenches" to fall to their knees and weep at the complexity, non-linearity and creativity required to develop product and finish performance projects in such a dynamic laboratory.
How does a complex, custom fabricated turbo system go together? - ain't no Bentley manual gonna tell you that. Intricate wiring harnesses, interlaced with factory assembly procedures for complex cam timing with a custom-fabricated-bracket chaser is all in the cocktail for an 034Motorsport performance barista.
Mike came to us with years of factory Audi and Porsche training, topped off with crew chief duties for the 034EFI powered Randy Hill 1.8t powered Rault chassis race car. His 200HP normally aspirated, 034EFI powered bug was the cherry on top. Rest assured, Mike is part of the 034 crew that helps whip the lusty froth on your 034Motorsport powered project.
Adil, Jr. Performance Tech
The average day of an 034Motorsport hydraulic automotive lift is filled with a smorgasbord of high performance German sedans. In one day our Benwil lift could see a 500HP wide body Urquattro, a 550HP Stage 3+ B5 S4, a track prepped B7 RS4 or a bone stock 5000 Turbo Quattro simply getting an oil change.
Our lifts are busy, busy holding up cars for our techs to work on, one of those is now Adil. We brought on Adil to help take up the slack in our daily service schedule to ensure we can get customers in for service in under a week, often the same day. Adil is driven and that's what we love about him, years ago starting out as a shop runt at an independent auto repair shop and working his way up, he is now a talented and careful tech artfully completing timing belt jobs, suspension swaps, turbo conversions all in a day's work.
Sherwin Sandhu, Senior Fabricator
With the heavy, ever growing load of custom fabricated parts that 034Motorsport offers, capacity had to increase, and what better way then to have Sandhu on the job to help out. Sherwin is young, but the kid can weld, and he wears the most "bling-tastic" welding outfits West of the pimp ghetto welders in E. Harlem, New York. T304 stainless steel's worst nightmare? - Running into Sherwin in a dark ghetto alley-way, TIG torch in hand, there will be a beat down for sure, along with some serious heat and penetration, the base metal won't even know what hit it, YO.
Rajvir Kalsi, Performance Manufacturing Machinist
In there world of Motorsport, there are leaders and there are followers, there are copiers and innovators. In order to be a leading innovator you need experience, drive and passion to create new concepts and work them out until they are ready for consumption, you need tools and equipment that bring advanced concepts to life for testing, and you need skilled staff to bring it all together. Advanced manufacturing resources in house means that 034Motorsport can create virtually any product much more quickly and less expensively than outsourcing. This translates to higher quality product and actually lower prices to the customer.
Raj fills his role at 034Motorsport by running our Haas VF-2 CNC machine, with over 10 years of machining and manufacturing work experience he can fixture, setup, machine and test our prototypes and products to the highest standard required.

Shipping and inventorying product is a serious job here at 034Motorsport, if anything goes wrong in this area then customer satisfaction is compromised. Paul came to us with a bubbling enthusiasm for Audis, after some careful research, the fact that he owned three Audi 5000 Quattro's sort of tipped us off that he was keen to the brand. Paul has an almost military-like drive in his role over shipping and inventory, rest assured no standard is too high, no mission impossible.

Often when searching for an employee to fill a delicate and strategic role, the best way to find them is right in the middle of what they do best. In order to be the best tactical shipper, you need a passion for boxes. Whether dual laminated, triple corrugated, 3-phase compressed or a light, high density single composite, you need to appreciate the protective properties of cardboard packaging.
We found Max out on the shoulder of Interstate 880 admiring and collecting some native cardboard lost parcels, his passion for packing material was easy to spot and he was a natural for the position.

Josh Hale, Shipping Tactician
At 034, our first priority is getting your orders out quickly and accurately, until Josh came along, we were pumping Max and Danny full of steroids and crack cocaine just to keep up with the growing deluge of new orders! Turns out, that's not really legal (but shows how far we're willing to go for our customers!), as a result, we brought Josh on to take up the slack, and help our shipping department keep up with shipments. Josh is no stranger to handling a package, and has acclimated quickly slinging a tape gun in one hand and a flip out Home Depot billet utility knife in the other. When it comes time to have your package handled, we want to assure you that Josh is your man at 034, where its not a job, its with a loving touch each package is cared for until it leaves our building.
Randall, Shipping Tactician
We ship 50-100 packages a day most days at 034Motorsport, and we don't plan on that not growing any time soon. Its definitely not a one-man job, and our shipping team needed a capable hand to keep the "HP in a box" assembly line running smoothly. Randy is a VWaholic through and through, he has spent hours tweaking his Mk5 GTI to extract more performance from it. Randy's job is to help pack packages to ensure they arrive safely in your hands, kit the many complex parts we manufacture into complete assemblies and they myrad list of other things that come up each day getting parts to our customers quickly and safely.
Jessica Howard, Phone Reception
At 034motorsport we receive hundreds of phone calls a day, and each one is special. So special, in fact, that we're not quite yet prepared to let an automated phone system annoy customers to the point of cursing at their phones.
Jessica's job is to pleasantly answer the phone and put callers through to the right 034Motorsport department - tech, sales, order status, accounting, you name it. With an ample past of experience, Jessica handily juggles multiple lines with effortless ease, tempered by Alaskan trail building expeditions, 4-year old rock climbing-birthday party-all nighters and marathon Never Ending Story movie nights.
