Street/Performance clutch kit for the Audi A4 1.8t B5 and B6 cars, also fits VW Passat all with 5-speed transmission.
Stock weight, solid mass flywheel to eliminate the rubbery stock dual mass flywheel w/o gear rattle or chattering of lighter flywheels, organic disc with high rate pressure plate for 325 ft/lbs of holding power (at the crank).
By increasing the size of the clutch, and not the clamping force of the pressure plate like is required with a 228mm clutch, we are able to maintain the smoothness of an OE clutch with the holder power of a larger 240mm kit. A correlary would be like putting larger brakes on the car but keeping streetable pads and using the larger size to increase the braking force, not higher stress.
An excellent choice for street driven cars (or dual purpose street/track) with up to 350HP, smooth, stock like engagement, faster revving due to less mass on the outside of the flywheel. Smooth, no chatter, stock weight clutch pedal, the gentleman's choice.
Fits all 5-speed B5 & B6 1.8T applications.
Includes lightweight steel flywheel, clutch pressure plate and disc, flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts, throw out bearing, pilot bearing and clutch alignment tool.
