This ARP Head Stud Kit is meant for those swapping large port AEB heads (11mm studs) onto later 06A/06B blocks (come with 10mm studs). Since the threads are recessed in the 06A/06B block, this kit is supplied with longer studs necessary for installation. We recommend using the M10 to M11 Block Thread Upgrade Kit to tap the 06A/06B block for the larger diameter studs. NOTE, IF YOU DO NOT OWN AN 11MM TAP AND APPROPRIATE DRILL BIT, YOU WILL NEED THIS KIT!
Perfect for high HP applications where factory stretch fasteners don't provide sufficient, consistent clamping force in high combustion pressure applications.
All Pro Series ARP2000 studs are centerless ground, heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining, and are nominally rated at 220,000 psi. These fasteners deliver a 40% increase in tensile strength over the OEM Torque to Yield (TTY) bolts.

These 11MM head studs do NOT use the factory 6-point tool for tightening. Do not use the factory tigntening torques for these head studs!
*Recommended final TQ of 80lb/ft torque in 3 steps, in factory pattern, with supplied thread lubricant.
