Torque plate for use with all 12V and 24V 2.8L, 2.9L, and 3.2L VR6 engines. Accommodates bores up to 84.5mm, or can be bored out by a machine shop for larger pistons. Machined in-house from billet aluminum.
Using a torque plate when boring your engine is essential to ensure that the cylinders are round with the cylinder head bolted on. Bolting this torque plate to your block will distort it into the shape it assumes with the cylinder head bolted on, and allows your block to be bored such that the bores will remain round once the cylinder head is bolted back on.
This torque plate can be used with factrory length hardware.
