Marc picked up this beatuful Audi sport sedan recently. Though he wanted more power, he didn't want to kill the low end power or smoothness of the stock setup. The 034 K24/T04B hybrid fit the bill nicely, greatly improving peak output while maintaining good power below 4krpm. He also employed an 034 oil/water line kit to make everything fit nicley.
Robin's race car started out as a little 'ol red Audi 4000 quattro with Red paint and air conditioning. After a serious weight loss program, an 8 point roll cage was installed, a full race suspension, and all steel motorsport fenders were fabricated. A tough MC1 5 cylinder turbo motor was installed, but the standard 162hp would not suffice for a racer like this. The cylinder head was heavily ported and flowed, a 280 degree solid lifter camshaft actuates a solid lifter drivetrain and oversized 41/35mm valves. A Lehmann turbo manifold supports a massive K27/28 hybrid turbo, and breathes through an open 3" exhaust exiting in front of the passenger side wheelwell.
To keep everything synchronized like a fine 80's glam-metal band (ie: rockin' and rollin'), an 034EFI Stage IIc was employed, and fires 5 034 DIS coils, one per cylinder. 034efi even went out to tune the car on 100 octane fuel. The initial result is 250 wheel HP on the Dyno Dynamics rollers at a low 15psi boost. Power comes on hard at 5500rpm with a powerband through 7500rpm.
The result is a car that tears up the track, reminiscent of the Audi Motorsport Trans Am cars of yesteryear - the benchmark for the project.
2006 has brought some major changes to the original 034EFI test bed. A new high flow 20v motor has brought power levels to a truly new level. The motor was extensively modified. The 20v head was worked over including flow bench testing (220cfm at 11mm lift) and Audi 7A cams. The block was blueprinted, lightened and balanced, o-ringed (to clamp down an 034EFI copper head gasket) and fitted with 034EFI forged rods and forged JE pistons with an 8.3:1 compression ratio. A production 034 header flows to a new 034 GT40R turbo good for 800 HP. All this managed by an 034EFI Stage IIc running 034EFI DIS coils.
The result at 38psi it laid down 640 wheel HP on a Mustang Dyno, pushing the GT40R to its flow limit. Stay tuned for future upgrades and testing.
"I found all the parts I bought from 034 to be excellent quality and fit, its obvious parts have been tried and tested to satisfaction. Help and response from the staff is second to none."
Cheers, - Andy
Andy Krinks, like many of our customers, set out to build an ultimate version of his dream car, in this case an early Audi Rally Car. We can not say enough about the results, gorgeous and functional, we are proud to have our parts featured on it.
Parts: 034EFI Stage IIc (tuned by MRC Tuning UK), 034EFI Plug In harness, 034 High Output Coils, 034EFI Header and Downpipe combo with Header Line Kit, 034 High Output Intake Manifold, etc, etc.
This is the 034efi 1.8t project car for testing and development. Engine management is controlled by an 034EFI Stage IC, firing Audi Style, 3-wire coils in a waste spark configuration with sequential injection. Injectors are 800cc, boost is currently controlled with a Greddy Profec B (soon to be 034 controlled). The turbo is a Garrett GT28RS mounted on an ATP exhaust manifold. All stock sensors were retained including crank sensor, TPS, air and water temp sensors and O2.
The car rides on a full prototype Ground Control Coil Over suspension with 13" brakes up front.
For the ultimate test, we entered the car in the European Car 1.8T Challenge. The car did very well, turning 346HP and over 350ft/lbs of torque with 22psi boost, and also posting the second fastest track time of the competition!.
The car is a riot to drive, wheel spin through 3rd gear makes driving the car under full acceleration a handful (Even with Hoosier R-compound tires!). Get the car straight, however, and the acceleration is violent. Stay tuned as we have more fun with this incredibly versatile and potent chassis.

034 EFI SIC
"I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS with an HRC turbo setup on it. I am running 10psi low boost and 16psi high boost. I have dyno'd (poorly tuned before 034EFI) 287FWHP and 282 tq. After blowing my last motor from running to lean i decide to change my fuel system from my old SFMU with SAFC running 410's only, to an 8-injector setup using the 034EFI with factory 235's as primary and the 410's on the secondary rail. Its a night and day deference. After conferring with Javad to help compensate for my programming ignorance, I was finally able to dial in my A/F ratio to around 11.0:1 to 11.5:1. This is one of the best (if not THE best) EFI to use if you want great fuel control without having to go to a full stand alone. I highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants to be in control of their fuel delivery! thanks Javad for an awesome product and even more awesome support!!!!"

034 EFI STAGE IC
Alex did a great job of getting his Mk III making some serious power! An 034EFI Stage IC controls all distributorless ignition and fueling - using all stock sensors and even the stock crank trigger. Currently he's running 20psi and an estimated 225 whp:
"Hi Javad, ok I went up to 28.5 for main and -0,134 for idle, now it runs great. My car never ran that good, no back fires or stumbles when u get on it, I'm loving it.
I already order 440cc with 14 ohm resist ans, so I ll be running 20 psi soon (15 psi now). Gona have to get t bolt clams though, because now it holds boost all the way to red line (didn't do it before) blew off couplings twice :)
Thanks for your help, Alex. "

"There is no doubt that 034EFI made the swap of a highly modified NF code engine in the CGT a lot easier. It gives you total control of the engine parameters. The support I received either direct or through the 034EFI user community eliminates a lot of the trial and error issues common to systems like that. I already used it in competition and it never missed a beat. I am looking forward to continue to use it in more rallies. More info about the car at www.csrally.com ."

034 EFI STAGE IIc
Randy Hill's Formula FS car came to us not running, another tuner had spent months to get the snarling 8500RPM 1.8 turbo engine tuned and running on the factory Motronic system. The 034 IIc system was wired up during a few afternoons and installed w/o a hitch, the motor fired up immediately and idled smoothly at 1300 rpm after minutes of tuning. 2 hours on a dynapack dyno later and the motor was revving cleanly to 8500 rpm and making 300hp at 8400rpm with only 14psi boost. All stock sensors were used including TPS, air/water temp, O2 and even crank reference. Stock coil-on plug units were also kept, the result is an unbelievably fast revving, powerful motor, pulling from 3krpm to over 8k in literally only 3 seconds under load! The IIc ECU drives the tach, fuel pump and electric fan.
