Step 0 – Warning! Internal combustion engines (like the one in your car) run quite hot! In fact, various places in the engine compartment can be hot enough to burn your precious little hands, so please make sure to allow your vehicle to cool down before work.
Step 1 – The shifter cable bracket is located under battery tray.

Step 2 – Remove the Battery and the fuse box cover. At the fuse box, unbolt the left most wire – this should make the battery tray removal easier.

Step 3 – At the fuse box, unbolt the left most wire – this should make the battery tray removal easier.

Step 4 – Locate the shifter cable bracket. Remove the mounting bolts and the OEM rubber inserts. Replace inserts with 034Motorsport Billet pieces. The larger piece goes on the bottom and interfaces with the transmission.

Step 5 – Install the stock mounting bolts. Tighten to 20 Nm.

Step 6 – Reinstall battery tray, wiring, battery and fusebox cover in reverse order.
