Brake Pad & Rotor Replacement
ZTF Automotive offers a wide range of high-quality brake pads and rotors to suit your driving style and needs. From soft-compound factory-replacement pads and OEM solid rotors to aggressive track compound pads and two-piece floating rotors and everything inbetween, a ZTF Automotive Service Advisor can help you find the best option for your Audi or Volkswagen.
Brake Fluid Flush Service
Improve the performance of your brake system with performing necessary brake fluid flush services. ZTF Automotive's Brake Fluid Flush Service removes existing brake fluid, moisture, and debris from your car's brake lines and hydraulic systems, and replaces it with high-quality Motul RBF 600 DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid. Motul RBF 600 Brake Fluid is suitable for street and track applications, and is highly-recommended for performance European automobiles.
Brake Line Replacement & Upgrades
Factory rubber brake lines do a decent job for day-to-day driving, but are prone to expansion under heavy braking. This can result in inconsistent pedal feel, and less consistent brake response. ZTF Automotive carries DOT-approved stainless steel braided brake line kits, which prevent expansion and offer improved braking performance whether you're commuting to work or pushing your car's limits on track.
Brake System Diagnosis & Repair
Are your brakes fading, making noise, pulsating, or not performing as desired? ZTF Automotive's expert technicians can diagnose hardware, electronic, and hydraulic system issues that may be limiting the effectiveness of your Audi or Volkswagen brake system. From brake pad/rotor inspection to ABS module replacement or recoding, ZTF Automotive carries state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools to effectively identify and repair problems with your car's brake system.
Performance Brake Pad Installation
One of the most critical areas to address before heading the the track for an Audi Club Track Day or High-Performance Driving Event (HPDE) is replacing your vehicle's factory brake pads. Factory brake pads are manufactured with soft compounds to ensure quiet operation, and effective emergency stopping power at low temperatures. However, the use of these soft compounds makes them fade and become ineffective under consistent, heavy braking that is required on track.
ZTF Automotive offers a wide range of aggressive, track-compound brake pads that offer consistent braking performance lap after lap. We recommend switching these pads in before your track day or HPDE, and then switching back to street pads after the event. This will maximize your time on track, and allows you to use the same set of track pads for multiple events, instead of cooking the stock/street pads in a few short laps.
Big Brake Upgrade Kits
Need more stopping power, beyond what the factory brake system provides? Want to change your vehicle's brake bias? ZTF Automotive offers a large selection of Performance Big Brake Kits for Audi and Volkswagen. From OEM+ upgrade kits with larger rotors and more powerful calipers, to full-on race-bred braking systems from AP Racing, Stoptech, and Brembo, we have what you need to get your car stopped in a hurry.
