034Motorsport 39mm & 60mm Billet Fuel Pump Upgrade Kit Installation
Please Note: This installation guide features photos of a B5 fuel pump assembly our 60mm adapter. Other models will be very similar, and our 39mm adapter installation is also similar.
Step 1:
Remove your OE fuel pump assembly; we recommend doing this with the fuel level below 1/8th of a tank.

Step 2:
Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pop out the tabs securing the top of the basket to the base.

Step 3:
With the tabs popped out, gently pry off the top part of the basket.

Step 4:
Remove the bottom half of the basket.

Step 5:
Remove the rubber mounts that hold the factory assembly into the basket.

Step 6:
Install the rubber mounts onto the appropriate pins located on the 034Motorsport Billet Fuel Pump Bracket.

Step 7:
Press the bracket over the bottom of the fuel pump; this will require a bit of pressure at first, and will become easier as the bracket makes it onto the fuel pump body.

Step 8:
Install the M5 bolt into the bracket, but do not tighten it.

Step 9:
Adjust the height of the bracket in relation to the stock basket height as pictured below. Tighten the M5 bolt to clamp the bracket onto the fuel pump snugly.

Step 10:
Install the fuel pump assembly into the bottom of the OE basket using the rubber mounts.

Step 11:
Align the top of the OE fuel pump basket, and snap the tabs into place.

Step 12:
You should now be looking at a complete assembly, ready for installation of the necessary fittings supplied for your application, and re-installation into your tank.

Unfortunately we don't have a photo guide for the C5 Audi A6, but many of our customers are running this billet setup in C5 chassis cars. Feel free to email us a picture of your factory basket so that we can help!

We offer this drop-in fuel pump upgrade for the 8L S3: https://store.034motorsport.com/high-flow-fuel-pump-mkiv-mkv-mkvi-volkswagen-r32-golf-r-8n-8p-8l-audi-a3-s3-tt-ttrs-quattro-deatschwerks-dw65v-awd.html
Didn't get the pump height right (no reserve) any one have a measurement from the adapter to the pump inlet?
Also:
1. Pump polarity markings were reversed. Notice on Aeromotive site.
2. Required new wires cooked the stock ones. I added a second relay. Orig. relay triggers second relay. Power for 2nd relay comes from main power feed to relay block.
The pump is 60mm in diameter
But this 044 looks abit long
I want to keep the under car plastic fuel pump housing as it’s new
Cheers
