What is Camber?

Camber significantly affects how your vehicle handles straight-line stability and cornering. It’s adjusted by changing the inward (negative camber) and outward tilt (positive camber) of the tire and wheel assembly to affect how the tire makes contact with the ground based on the application.

In a car that prioritizes handling, more negative camber is desired. It increases cornering capability due to an increased inward angle of the wheel and tire assembly– preventing sidewall rollover, resulting in less understeer, and allowing for more grip when taking a corner.

What is Caster?

Caster is an imaginary line that extends from a vehicle’s upper and lower steering pivot points and affects the vehicle's directional control of the steering. Most cars have positive caster due to its many benefits.

Increased caster over factory further increases a vehicle's stability in straight-line situations and allows for smoother corner exit with little to no drawbacks.

What is Roll Center?

Roll center is a theoretical point at which the cornering forces in the suspension react to the vehicle chassis concerning the vehicle’s center of gravity. A vehicle’s roll center is negatively impacted when lowering McPherson Strut vehicles as the point at which the suspension pivot in the lower ball joint changes, allowing for the center of gravity to have an increased effect, or leverage, on a vehicle's roll control. Correction of a McPherson Strut vehicle’s roll center should only be done a lowered cars.

Handling Combinations

Listed below are various combinations of mixing and matching different setups we offer for the platform.

Dynamic+ RCO Control Arms

Camber: -1.3 to -2.5°

Caster 7.5°

Utilizing Density Line Bushings and forged aluminum for strength and weight, these lower control arms provide additional caster and adjustable negative camber to maximize high-speed stability and cornering ability.

Dynamic+ Camster Mount

This mount adds an additional 1.5 degrees of negative camber and a degree of caster for significantly improved high-speed stability, cornering ability, turn-in, and handling response.

Camsters offer the best of both worlds, providing the benefits of additional negative camber and caster.

Dynamic+ RCO - Camber & Roll Center Adjusting Ball Joints

These upgraded ball joints correct the roll center of your lowered vehicle by adjusting and optimizing the roll center by 10mm and adding 1.2 degrees of negative camber, resulting in significantly enhanced grip when cornering and a more confident front end.

Dynamic+ Caster Mount

These caster-only mounts provide an additional 1.6 degrees of caster to significantly improve straight-line stability, cornering ability, and handling performance. The additional caster improves dynamic negative camber, maximizing the available grip when turning.
